Our Mission:

The programs and services of Childhood Diabetes Research Institute are grounded in supporting research programs, clinics, and hospitals that teach the public about and provide therapies, medical equipment and supplies used in treatment of childhood diabetes and other degenerative diseases.

  • The Miracle of Research & Support Groups

The miracle of medical research - provides the hope of one day finding the cure for that special child suffering from diabetes, leukemia, cancer and other degenerative diseases.  Hospitals and clinics are the beneficiaries of general assistance and financial grants by CDRI.  CDRI programs help provide the opportunity to learn more about the value of nutrition, exercise, and how to cope with their life-threatening disease.

  • The Miracle of Health --- Not Taken for Granted

The miracle of good health - family support groups, child camp sponsorships, and integrated family planning programs are a vital part of the Philippine projects for children with diabetes and life-threatening diseases.  CDRI strives to continually look for opportunities to work with other agencies that share a compassionate love for the health and welfare of children.

Emergency relief is the cornerstone of the programs of American Indian Children's Hunger Fund and other agencies whose programs provide for disaster relief to help combat malnutrition in countries around the world.  Feed My Hungry Children also provides local support through food banks and pantries.  Doctors, nurses, and volunteer workers also dispense much needed medicines and provide medical attention through medical clinics and mobile medical teams.

Feed My People International-Philippines, a non-profit foreign organization in Manila, Philippines, provides support for hospital and medical supplies.  FMPCC-Philippines programs provides tens of thousands of people with medical assistance each year.  Through the efforts of CDRI much needed supplies are made available for thousands of treatments each year.

  • The Miracle of Cures and Advanced Treatments

The miracle of specialized treatments - COAD, International receives ongoing support for their extensive programs providing free plastic surgery to children from Mexico and surrounding areas.  Over 12,000 children and adults have received life transforming "miracle operations" by COAD.  CDRI is proud to be a part of this life-changing work.  Educational, emotional, and spiritual support is also made available by support groups to help patients with various personal and financial needs.

Specialized treatment programs - Oasis of Hope Hospital / Oasis Children's Cancer Fund, in Tijuana, Mexico offers support to patients based on a "Total Care" approach.  The approach recognizes that a whole person has physical, mental, and spiritual needs.  Nutrition, spiritual and psychological counseling, and an education program support the medical treatment.  Nutrition combined with non-toxic therapies rebuilds the patient's natural defense mechanisms.  CDRI continues to search for ways to assist in helping families become aware of the research and healing programs of the Oasis Hospital of Hope.

  • The Miracle of Caring - Reaching out to Children around the world

CDRI works alongside other agencies to provide vital medical assistance to men, women, and children in projects throughout Mexico, Kosovo, and other Third World countries.  These agencies go the extra mile in utilizing their resources to help alleviate as much hardship and individual trauma resulting from childhood diseases.  Some agencies target over 20 regions of the world to combat childhood leukemia, cancer and various other childhood degenerative diseases.  CDRI will continue to seek opportunities to provide medical supplies and equipment to regions, throughout the world, whose people are in desperate need of assistance.
